How to Upload a Catalog on Meesho: Single and Bulk (2026)

To upload a catalog on Meesho, open the Supplier Panel, go to Catalog Uploads, choose Add Single Catalog (or bulk upload for many products), pick the category, add square product images, fill in the price, GST, size and attribute fields, and click Submit Catalog. Meesho then runs a quality check (QC). Once it passes, the catalog goes live on the app. Meesho's own support notes put the full journey at up to 72 hours: about 24 hours for QC and up to 48 hours after that to go live.

This guide walks through both methods field by field, explains the two price boxes most new sellers get wrong, and shows how to fix a catalog that fails QC.

Catalog, product, variation: get the words right first

On Meesho, a catalog is one design with its variations. A kurti in sizes S to XXL is one catalog with five variations, not five catalogs. Different designs can also sit inside one catalog as separate products.

This matters because buyers see the catalog as one listing, with one set of ratings. Splitting the same design across many catalogs looks like duplicate listing, which Meesho does not allow.

Before you start: keep these ready

  • Images: square, sharp, plain light background, no text or logos. The full rules are in our Meesho product image requirements guide, and the free image resizer squares a whole folder at once.
  • Measured size chart for apparel. Measure real pieces from your stock. Our Meesho size chart guide shows how.
  • HSN code and GST rate for the product. Check yours in the HSN code finder.
  • Net weight in grams after packing. This decides your shipping charge, so weigh it on a scale instead of guessing.
  • Your SKU ID, your own code for the product. See the Meesho SKU ID guide for a format that stays clean.
  • Your price, worked out with the Meesho price calculator so shipping and returns are covered before you type a number.

Method 1: Add Single Catalog, step by step

Use this for your first 20 or so products. It shows every field on screen, so mistakes are easy to spot.

  1. Log in at supplier.meesho.com and open Catalog Uploads from the menu.
  2. Click Add Single Catalog.
  3. Search for the category and select the most exact one in the list. For example "Kurtis" rather than a general "Women Ethnic Wear". The category decides which fields and filters you get.
  4. Upload the images. The first image is the one buyers see in search, so use your cleanest front photo there. Add back, side and close-up shots after.
  5. Fill in the product details (explained field by field below).
  6. If you have several sizes or colours, fill one completely, then use Copy input details to all items and change only what differs.
  7. Add the size chart for apparel and footwear.
  8. Check everything once more, then click Submit Catalog and confirm.

The catalog now shows in your single listing tab with its status. Do not upload the same product again while it is in QC. That creates a duplicate.

The fields, in plain words

Field names change a little by category, but these are the ones that decide whether a listing works.

FieldWhat to enterCommon mistake
Product nameWhat it is, fabric, key featureStuffing keywords or brand names you do not own
Meesho priceThe price you want for a normal orderForgetting shipping comes out of this
Wrong/Defective returns priceA lower price for buyers who give up normal returnsLeaving it equal to Meesho price by accident
MRPThe printed maximum retail priceSetting it lower than the selling price
GST %The rate for your HSN codeUsing an old rate from before September 2025
HSN codeThe tax code for the productCopying a competitor's code without checking
Net weight (gms)Packed weightGuessing low, then paying a higher slab
InventoryReal stock you can shipShowing 100 when you have 10
SKU IDYour own product codeRandom codes you cannot read later
AttributesFabric, colour, pattern, occasionLeaving optional ones empty

The two price boxes

This is where most new sellers get confused.

  • Meesho price is what a buyer pays when they keep normal return rights.
  • Wrong/Defective returns price is a lower price shown to buyers who agree they can only return a product that is wrong or defective. They give up returns for reasons like "did not like it" or size issues.

Both must be below the MRP, and the wrong/defective price must be lower than the Meesho price. The gap is your choice. A bigger gap pushes more buyers to the option with fewer returns, which can protect your margin because returns cost you reverse shipping. Our Meesho return charges guide shows what one return really costs.

The fields that decide your shipping

Meesho works out shipping from weight and size. A box that is bigger than it needs to be can push you into a higher slab, even if the product is light. Read Meesho shipping charges and volumetric weight before you fill in the weight for anything bulky.

Attributes are how buyers find you

Meesho's filters run on attributes. A buyer who filters "cotton" or "festive" never sees a catalog with those fields empty. Fill every attribute you honestly can, including the optional ones.

Method 2: Bulk catalog upload

Bulk upload pays off when you add many products in one category at once.

  1. In Catalog Uploads, choose the bulk option.
  2. Search and select the category. Each category has its own template.
  3. Download the template. It is an Excel file. The first sheet has the instructions and the second sheet is where your products go.
  4. Fill the product rows following the instructions sheet. Leave the columns the instructions say to skip, and do not add or rename columns.
  5. Upload the images the way the template asks for them.
  6. Upload the filled file back in the panel.
  7. Note the file ID and watch its status in the bulk listing tab.

Three rules save hours:

  • Use the template for the exact category. A file filled in on the wrong category's template gets rejected.
  • Paste values, not formulas. Copying from another sheet often brings hidden formulas or formatting that breaks the file.
  • Start with five rows. Upload a small file first, fix what fails, then send the rest.

If you are adding products often, our guide on going from 20 to 200 listings has a spreadsheet system that keeps bulk files clean.

After you submit: QC and going live

Every new catalog goes through quality check before buyers see it. Meesho's support process notes say:

  • QC takes about 24 hours.
  • Going live takes up to 48 hours more after QC passes.
  • So the total can be up to 72 hours from upload.

Two things sellers miss:

  • Update the stock after QC passes. A catalog with zero inventory does not show to buyers.
  • A draft is not a submission. A catalog saved as a draft never goes through QC and never goes live.

If a catalog is still "in QC" after 72 hours, raise a ticket from Support with the file ID. Do not upload it again. Our catalogue blocked guide has the ticket path and a template for this.

Fixing a catalog that failed QC

Bulk upload: download the error file from the panel. It marks which rows failed and why. Correct those rows, save it, and upload it again as a new file from the QC error page.

Single upload: open the rejected catalog to read the reason, correct it, and submit again. If the reason is unclear, raise a ticket with the catalog ID.

The usual reasons for QC failure:

  1. Image problems: text, logos or watermarks on the photo, a busy background, or a blurry picture.
  2. Wrong category for the product.
  3. Price errors: selling price above MRP, or the return price higher than the Meesho price.
  4. Missing or wrong details: empty required fields, a size chart that does not match the product.
  5. Brand problems: using a brand name or logo you do not own the rights to.
  6. Duplicate catalog: the same product already listed by you.

A checklist before you click Submit

  • Most exact category chosen
  • First image is the clean front photo, square, no text
  • Meesho price and return price both below MRP, return price lower
  • Price checked in the price calculator, shipping included
  • GST rate and HSN code checked
  • Net weight measured on a scale, packed
  • Size chart from real measurements
  • Every attribute filled
  • Real stock entered

FAQ

Meesho par catalog kaise upload kare?

Supplier Panel mein Catalog Uploads kholo, Add Single Catalog chuno, category select karo, photos upload karo, price, GST, HSN, weight aur size details bharo, phir Submit Catalog dabao. QC pass hone ke baad catalog live ho jata hai.

How long does Meesho take to make a catalog live?

Meesho's support notes say about 24 hours for QC and up to 48 hours after that, so up to 72 hours in total. If it is stuck longer, raise a ticket with the file ID instead of uploading again.

What is the Wrong/Defective returns price on Meesho?

It is a second, lower price for buyers who accept that they can only return a wrong or defective product. It must be lower than your Meesho price, and both must be below MRP.

Should I use single or bulk upload?

Single upload for your first products, because you see every field and every error. Bulk upload once you are adding many products in one category and have a clean spreadsheet.

Can I list the same product in many catalogs to get more views?

No. That counts as duplicate listing and can get catalogs blocked. Put variations in one catalog and spend the effort on better photos and attributes.

Can I edit a catalog after it goes live?

Yes, prices, stock and many details can be changed later from the panel. Big changes such as images or category may send it through QC again.
