Image Resizer
Resize product images to the dimensions a marketplace expects. Set your size, download, upload to your catalog. Nothing is sent to a server.
Drop your product photos here
Up to 40 at once. JPG, PNG or WebP. Everything happens in your browser, so the photos never leave your device and the location data your phone buried in them is stripped on the way out.
Choose photosWhy size gets listings rejected
Marketplaces set a minimum square size for catalog images, and undersized files fail QC. Oversized files upload slowly and get compressed anyway.
Square is the format that matters
Catalog images are square. A rectangular photo either gets cropped by the platform or padded, and neither looks deliberate. Resize to square before uploading, not after.
Why the wrong size fails QC
Marketplaces set a minimum square size for catalog images, and undersized files are rejected outright. Published guidance for Meesho ranges from roughly 1000 to 1500 pixels a side, so the safe move is to go larger rather than sit exactly on a minimum that may change.
Oversized files are the opposite problem: they upload slowly, the platform compresses them anyway, and on a patchy connection an upload that times out halfway is a wasted afternoon.
Square, not cropped later
Catalog images are square. A rectangular photo either gets cropped by the platform - usually through the part of the product you wanted to show - or padded with bars. Resizing to square yourself means you decide what stays in frame.
Start from the largest original you have
Shrinking an image is clean. Enlarging one cannot add detail the camera never captured, so a small photo blown up to 1500px looks soft and is often rejected for quality rather than size. Shoot at your phone's full resolution and resize down.
If the background is the problem rather than the size, the background whitener is the tool you want, and the image requirements are covered in why catalogues get blocked.
Frequently asked questions
What size should Meesho product images be?+
Square, and at least the platform minimum - published guidance ranges from about 1000 to 1500 pixels a side. Larger is safe; too small gets rejected at QC.
Will resizing reduce quality?+
Making an image smaller is generally clean. Enlarging a small photo cannot add detail that was never captured, so start from the largest original you have.
Are my photos uploaded?+
No. Resizing happens in your browser and no image is sent to us.
Can I resize several at once?+
Yes, batch resizing is supported - useful when preparing a full catalog.
What format should I save in?+
JPEG for photographs. It gives the best size-to-quality balance for product images.
