How to Print Meesho Labels: Thermal 4x6, A4 and Stickers (2026)

To print Meesho labels well, download the label PDF from your Supplier Panel, crop off the tax invoice half, sort the labels by product, and print at 100% or Actual Size on either a 4x6 inch thermal roll or plain A4 with two labels per sheet. That one change roughly halves your paper on A4, removes the scissors from your morning, and keeps every barcode scannable.

The rest of this guide covers each printing option, which one suits your order volume, and the mistakes that make couriers reject a parcel at pickup.

What is actually inside the Meesho label PDF

When you download labels for the orders you are packing, Meesho gives you one A4 page per order. The top part is the shipping label: the delivery address, the courier name, the AWB barcode and a small product table with SKU, size, quantity and order number. The bottom part is the tax invoice.

The courier only needs the label. Unless you enclose invoices inside your parcels, the bottom half of every page goes straight into the bin. At 40 orders a day that is 40 sheets where 20 would do, plus the time spent trimming each one.

One detail matters more than it looks: the boundary between label and invoice is not at the same height on every page. It moves with the length of the address and the product table. Cropping every page at a fixed line is how sellers end up with half an invoice on some labels and a barcode cut in half on others.

Step by step: from Supplier Panel to printed labels

  1. Accept and select the orders you are packing today in the Orders section of the Supplier Panel, then use the bulk label download. Menu names change from time to time, so if you cannot find it, look for the download option on the orders that are ready to pack.
  2. Open the free Meesho label cropper and drop the PDF in. If you run more than one Meesho account, drop all the files at once and they are read into one batch.
  3. Choose how to group the labels. By product (SKU) is the right default: every order of the same kurti comes out together, so you pick it from the shelf once instead of ten times.
  4. Choose your paper: 4x6 thermal roll, A4 two per sheet, A4 four per sheet, or crop only.
  5. Download and print at 100% or Actual Size. Never Fit to Page.
  6. Scan one barcode with your phone camera before running the full batch.

The cropper finds the label boundary on each page separately, which is the problem a fixed crop cannot solve. It runs inside your browser, so the file with your customers' names, phone numbers and addresses never leaves your device.

Thermal 4x6 vs A4: which one should you use?

Start with A4, two per sheet if you are new and already own a printer. Two labels fit on an A4 page with almost no shrinking, so barcodes scan exactly as they would on the original file, and you use half the paper you would otherwise.

Move to a thermal printer when packing becomes a daily job. Thermal printers need no ink, labels come out as stickers you peel and stick, and there is no tape or cutting. The cropper rotates each label to fill a standard 4x6 inch sticker. The trade-off is the upfront cost of the printer and the rolls, so it pays back fastest for sellers shipping every day.

Four per A4 sheet saves the most paper, but each label shrinks. Most barcodes still scan on a decent laser printer; a worn inkjet head or low toner is where it starts failing. Print one sheet, scan it, then decide.

If you have bought A4 sticker sheets (65, 40, 24 or 12 labels per sheet), use the label sticker sheet printer instead. It lets you tick only the slots that still have stickers, so a half-used sheet goes back into the printer instead of the bin.

The one print setting that decides everything

Every printer dialog defaults to something like Fit to Page or Shrink to fit. It looks harmless. It quietly rescales the whole page, and rescaling changes the width of the bars in the barcode.

A barcode the courier cannot scan at pickup or at the hub means a delayed shipment, and late or failed handovers count against your account health. Before your first batch:

  • Set scale to 100% or Actual Size.
  • Turn off any "fit", "shrink" or "borderless" option.
  • On a thermal printer, set the paper size to 4 x 6 inch (100 x 150 mm) in the printer settings, not A4.
  • Print one label and scan the barcode with your phone. If your phone reads it, the courier's scanner almost certainly will.

Pack faster by sorting before you print

Meesho's file comes in the order your orders arrived. Ten orders of the same product are scattered through the pile, so you walk to that shelf ten times.

Sort by SKU and the same labels come out together. The cropper shows you a coloured strip of your batch before and after sorting, with a count of how many times you would switch products while packing. On a mixed batch that number drops sharply, and that is the time you get back every single morning.

Two other sort orders are useful:

  • By courier, when different courier partners collect at different times and you want separate stacks ready for each handover.
  • COD first or last, so every cash-on-delivery parcel is checked together.

Common problems and how to fix them

The label prints tiny in the corner of the page. The printer is set to A4 while you are printing a 4x6 file, or the reverse. Match the paper size in the printer settings to the file.

Half the barcode is cut off. You cropped at a fixed height. Use a crop that finds the boundary per page, or keep the invoice and print the full page.

The courier says the barcode does not scan. Almost always Fit to Page or a low toner cartridge. Reprint at 100% with a fresh cartridge.

Some pages come out blank. Your download may include pages without a label, such as a summary page. The cropper skips pages with no text on them.

Labels from two accounts got mixed up. Keep each account's files clearly named before you drop them in, and check the SKU on the label against the product as you pack.

A simple daily routine

  1. Download the day's labels once, at the same time each day.
  2. Crop and sort by SKU, print, scan one barcode.
  3. Pack product by product, sticking each label as you seal the parcel.
  4. Record a short packing video for any high-value or frequently disputed order. The reasons are in our Meesho packing guide.
  5. Mark orders ready and hand over.

If you also print packing slips for direct or wholesale orders, the packing slip generator makes them in the same sizes. And if labels, invoices and manifests arrive as separate files, merge them into one PDF so it is one print job.

Selling on Amazon or Flipkart as well? Their label PDFs are laid out differently, so use the Amazon label cropper and the Flipkart label cropper for those. Both print the SKU, size and quantity under each label, so you can pack from the sticker.

FAQ

What size is a Meesho shipping label?

Meesho provides labels as A4 pages, with the shipping label in the upper part and the tax invoice below it. Once the invoice is cropped away, the label fits a standard 4 x 6 inch (100 x 150 mm) thermal sticker or half an A4 sheet.

Meesho label print kaise kare?

Supplier Panel se labels ka PDF download karo, use free label cropper mein daalo taaki invoice hat jaaye, phir thermal printer par 4x6 ya A4 par ek sheet mein do label print karo. Print karte waqt scale 100% ya Actual Size rakho, Fit to Page nahi.

Do I need to put the invoice inside the parcel?

Most sellers on Meesho do not enclose the printed invoice, and only stick the label. If your category, buyer or accountant needs it enclosed, keep the invoice when cropping and the full page prints as normal.

Do I need a thermal printer to sell on Meesho?

No. Any inkjet or laser printer works if you print two labels per A4 sheet and tape them on. A thermal printer becomes worth it once you are packing every day, because it needs no ink and prints ready-to-stick labels.

Will cropping the label make the barcode invalid?

No. Cropping only removes the invoice part of the page; the label and its barcode are copied exactly as Meesho created them. What breaks barcodes is rescaling when printing, so always print at 100%.

Is it safe to upload my label PDF to a cropping website?

Your label file contains customer names, phone numbers and addresses. Our cropper never uploads it: the PDF is read and rebuilt inside your browser tab. Be careful with any tool that sends the file to a server.
