Meesho GST Report Download and GSTR-1 Filing (2026)

To download your Meesho GST report, log in to the Supplier Panel on a computer, open Payments, click Download, choose GST Report, pick the year and month, and download. You get a ZIP with two Excel files: sales (orders delivered that month) and sales return (orders returned that month). Sales minus returns, state by state and rate by rate, is what goes into GSTR-1. The report is usually ready in the first week of the next month, not on the 1st.
This guide covers the download, how to read the two files, and exactly where each number goes in GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. For the bigger picture on TCS and reconciliation, read our GST for ecommerce sellers guide first.
This is a practical guide, not tax advice. If your business has B2B sales, several GSTINs or old mismatches, have a CA check your first filing.
Step 1: Download the Meesho GST report
- Open supplier.meesho.com in a computer browser and log in. Sellers often report trouble with downloads from the phone app. On a phone, switch Chrome to Desktop site.
- Open Payments from the menu.
- Click Download at the top of the Payments page.
- Choose GST Report.
- Select the year and month, then click Download.
The download is a ZIP file. Unzip it and you will see two files, named along the lines of tcs_sales and tcs_sales_return.
When is it ready? Not on the 1st. It usually appears in the first week of the following month. If you see an empty report, wait a day and try again rather than filing from half data.
Step 2: Understand the two files
| File | What it holds | What you do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Sales (TCS sales) | Orders delivered in the month, with taxable value, GST rate, tax and the buyer's state | Your gross sales for the month |
| Sales return (TCS sales return) | Orders returned in the month | Subtract from sales |
Two points cause most mistakes:
- The sales file counts delivered orders, not placed orders. An order placed on 28 October and delivered on 3 November is a November sale in this report.
- Returns are counted in the month they come back, not the month of the original sale. So October's return file can include orders sold in September. That is normal. You still net them in the month they appear.
Turn the files into GSTR-1 numbers
In Excel or Google Sheets:
- In the sales file, make a pivot table: rows = buyer's state, columns = GST rate, values = sum of taxable value (and sum of tax).
- Make the same pivot from the return file.
- Subtract returns from sales for each state and rate.
- Do the same for the HSN code column, to get net taxable value and quantity per HSN.
That net table is your filing data.
Do not want to build pivots? GST Didi, a free filing tool from our partner, reads the Meesho GST report ZIP (and Flipkart and Amazon reports too) and builds the GSTR-1 JSON file the GST portal accepts, with Tables 7, 12, 13 and 14 filled in. It runs in your browser, so your files are not uploaded anywhere. Whichever tool you use, compare its totals with the summary on the GST portal before you file.
Step 3: Fill GSTR-1
Nearly all Meesho orders go to buyers without a GSTIN, so they are B2C sales. Here is where they go.
Table 7: B2C (others)
Enter your net taxable value (sales minus returns) state by state and rate by rate. Use the buyer's state as the place of supply.
- Buyer in your own state: CGST + SGST.
- Buyer in another state: IGST.
Most Meesho orders go to other states, so most of your tax is IGST. If your invoices show CGST and SGST on an out-of-state order, fix that first.
Table 14: supplies through e-commerce operators
Since 2024, GSTR-1 has a Table 14 for sales made through an e-commerce operator such as Meesho. Section 14(a) is for sales where the operator collects TCS, which is the case on Meesho.
Here you report the same Meesho sales again, as a summary against Meesho's GSTIN. This is not double tax. Table 14 is for information only: the tax is already counted in Table 7, and Table 14 does not flow into GSTR-3B.
Where to find Meesho's GSTIN: on the GST portal, open the TDS and TCS credit received form under Returns. It lists the GSTIN of each operator that collected TCS from you. GST Didi's free GSTIN checker also shows your Meesho, Flipkart and Amazon TCS GSTINs from your own GSTIN.
Table 12: HSN summary
Enter net quantity and taxable value per HSN code from your HSN pivot. Use the B2C tab for Meesho sales. If you are unsure of a code, check it in our HSN code finder, and our HSN codes guide explains the rate changes of 22 September 2025.
Table 13: documents issued
Meesho prints a tax invoice in your name on each label, with its own invoice number. Table 13 asks for the range of invoice numbers issued in the month and how many were cancelled. The GST report does not give you this range, so note it from your invoices or labels, or use the free Table 13 builder on GST Didi. Our free Meesho label cropper keeps the invoices when you choose "Keep the tax invoice", which makes them easy to file away.
Step 4: Claim your TCS, then file GSTR-3B
Meesho deducts TCS at 0.5% of your net taxable sales and deposits it against your GSTIN. It is your money and you claim it back.
- On the GST portal, open TDS and TCS credit received for the month.
- Accept the TCS entries from Meesho. Accepted TCS is credited to your electronic cash ledger.
- In GSTR-3B, report your outward taxable supplies in Table 3.1(a). The figures should match the net numbers in your GSTR-1.
- Set off the liability using your input tax credit and the cash ledger (which now holds the TCS), then pay any balance and file.
If Meesho files its own TCS return late, the credit appears late. It is not lost. Keep checking the form and accept it when it shows.
Due dates
| Return | Monthly filers | Quarterly (QRMP) filers |
|---|---|---|
| GSTR-1 | 11th of the next month | 13th of the month after the quarter |
| GSTR-3B | 20th of the next month | 22nd or 24th, depending on your state |
The government sometimes extends these, so check the portal before the date. Late fees are charged per day until you file, and interest is charged on unpaid tax.
The monthly routine in 30 minutes
- Around the 7th: download the Meesho GST report.
- Build the net state and HSN pivots.
- Match net sales to your Payments settlement for the month. A big gap means something is missing. Our Meesho payment cycle guide explains the settlement side.
- By the 11th: file GSTR-1 (Tables 7, 12, 13 and 14).
- Accept TCS credit on the portal.
- By the 20th: file GSTR-3B.
Selling on Amazon or Flipkart too? Do the same for each marketplace and add the figures together in Table 7. Each operator gets its own line in Table 14 with its own GSTIN.
Common mistakes
- Filing gross sales without subtracting returns. You end up paying GST on products that came back.
- Forgetting to accept TCS, then paying the full tax in cash while the credit sits unused.
- Wrong tax type: CGST + SGST on an out-of-state order.
- Calculating TCS at 1%. It has been 0.5% since July 2024.
- Using old GST rates. Many rates changed on 22 September 2025.
- Skipping Table 14. It is how your sales line up with the TCS that Meesho reports against your GSTIN, so a blank Table 14 makes mismatches harder to explain.

FAQ
Meesho se GST report kaise nikale?
Computer par supplier.meesho.com kholo, Payments mein jao, upar Download par click karo, GST Report chuno, saal aur mahina select karke Download karo. ZIP mein sales aur sales return ki do Excel files milengi.
When is the Meesho GST report available?
It is usually ready in the first week of the following month, not on the 1st. If it shows empty, wait a day and download again before you file.
Is there a free tool to file GSTR-1 from the Meesho report?
Yes. GST Didi, our partner, turns the Meesho GST report ZIP into the GSTR-1 JSON file for the GST portal, free, inside your browser. Check the totals on the portal summary before you file, as with any tool.
Do I report Meesho sales as B2B or B2C?
B2C, in Table 7, state by state and rate by rate, because almost all Meesho buyers do not have a GSTIN. The same sales are also summarised in Table 14 against Meesho's GSTIN.
Will reporting in both Table 7 and Table 14 make me pay double GST?
No. Table 14 is for reporting only. The tax is counted once, from Table 7, and Table 14 does not flow into GSTR-3B.
How do I get back the TCS Meesho deducted?
Accept the TCS entries in the "TDS and TCS credit received" form on the GST portal. The amount goes to your electronic cash ledger and you use it to pay your GST in GSTR-3B.
Why is my Meesho GST report total different from my payout?
The payout is after Meesho's deductions such as shipping, TCS and other charges, and it follows the payment cycle dates. The GST report shows taxable sales by delivery month. Match them on taxable value, not on the money that reached your bank.
