When a seller actually needs this
Bulk downloads are the usual reason. You pull fifty labels in one file and a courier disputes one parcel, so you need that single page - not the whole batch. Or a B2B buyer asks for their invoice and you have a forty-page manifest.
It also helps at print time. A long manifest split into ten-page chunks prints far more reliably than one large job on a cheap printer, and you can stop halfway without losing the queue.
How to split without losing track
Work from a copy, not your only file. Note the page numbers before you start - once a file is split, working out which range held which order is slow. If you split regularly, name the outputs by order ID rather than page-1, because in a month you will not remember.
Why nothing is uploaded
A label or invoice PDF carries your customers' names, phone numbers and full delivery addresses. Uploading that to an unknown website hands over data that is not yours to give. This tool reads and writes the file inside your browser tab, so it never travels.
