Meesho Affiliate Without Followers: The Network Route
By Vanshika - ecommerce seller & educator, @chitraabyvanshika (100,000+ followers)
Meesho Creator Club reviews your social account before it approves you. If you do not have one, or yours is new, there is a second route that does not review anything: third-party affiliate networks that carry Meesho and accept anyone. You sign up, paste a Meesho product URL, get a tracking link, share it.
It works. It also pays differently and slower than the direct programme, and most pages about it leave that part out. Here is the full picture.
The two routes, side by side
| Meesho Creator Club (direct) | Affiliate network | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can join | Reviewed - public social account, real content | Anyone, typically 16+ with a PAN |
| Approval | 3 to 5 working days | Usually instant |
| Commission | Catalogue rates, roughly 4% to 25% | Network's own rate, usually lower |
| Confirmation | After delivery and return window | Up to 90 days |
| Payout | Weekly, bank transfer | Usually monthly |
| Extra features | Creator dashboard, Video Finds, Live Shop | Link generation only |
The direct programme is better on every line that matters. The network route exists because it is open, not because it is superior. If you can get approved for Creator Club, do that - the steps are in how to join Meesho Creator Club.
Networks that carry Meesho
These are the ones Indian creators use most. None of them charge to join.
- EarnKaro - the best known. Converts any product link into a shareable "profit link", built for WhatsApp and Telegram sharing.
- GrabCash - low payout threshold and UPI withdrawal, which suits small earnings.
- Cuelinks - aimed at people with a blog or website. Can auto-convert links inside your own content.
- INRDeals - deal-and-coupon focused, works well if your audience is price-led.
Rates, thresholds and payout timing change, and each network negotiates its own terms with Meesho. Check the live rate inside the dashboard before you build a campaign around any figure, including the ones here.
How to make your first link
- Sign up on the network with your mobile number or email.
- Add PAN and bank or UPI details. You will not be paid without this.
- Open Meesho, find the product, copy its URL.
- Paste it into the network's link generator.
- Share the link that comes back.
There is genuinely nothing else to it. No investment, no stock, no customer to handle, no return to process.
Where the money actually comes from
This is the part that decides whether it is worth your time. Affiliate income is three numbers multiplied together: traffic × click rate × conversion, then reduced by returns.
A realistic WhatsApp-led example:
- You share a ₹499 product to 5 groups, roughly 900 people total
- 90 people tap the link - 10%, which is high, because a WhatsApp group is warm traffic
- 4 buy - about 4.5%
- 4 × ₹499 = ₹1,996 in sales
- At a network rate of 6%, that is ₹120
- One of the four comes back, so about ₹90 survives
Ninety rupees for a message to five groups. Do that daily with genuinely useful product picks and it becomes a few thousand a month. It does not become a salary, and anyone showing you a screenshot that says otherwise is either at enormous scale or showing you pending commission that has not confirmed yet.
The catch, stated plainly
Confirmation takes up to 90 days. You will see a number in your dashboard in week one and receive the money in month three. Budget accordingly.
Returns delete earnings. Fashion is the highest-return category on Meesho and also the easiest to promote. A commission on a returned order is reversed.
Rates are lower than direct. The network takes a cut before you see yours.
Spamming kills the channel. Dropping links into groups you are not part of gets you removed and gets the link reported. The people who earn steadily are the ones whose audience trusts their picks - which is the same skill the direct programme selects for.
If you want the better rate, build the account
The honest version: the network route is a way to start today, not a destination. Three to four weeks of consistent posting in one shopping category - sarees, kitchen storage, kids wear, whatever your audience actually is - is usually enough to get through Creator Club review. You then keep the network account for products outside the affiliate catalogue and use the direct programme for everything in it.
And if the goal is income from Meesho rather than income from promoting Meesho, selling is the bigger number. Affiliate commission on a ₹499 product is around ₹30 to ₹45. The seller's margin on the same product, after every deduction, is usually several times that - which is what the Meesho profit calculator is for.
FAQ
Can I do Meesho affiliate marketing without followers?
Yes, through third-party affiliate networks such as EarnKaro, GrabCash, Cuelinks and INRDeals. They carry Meesho on a commission-per-sale basis and accept anyone with a PAN, with no follower requirement. Meesho's own Creator Club reviews your social account first.
Meesho se paise kaise kamaye without investment?
Affiliate network par free sign up karo, Meesho product ka link paste karke tracking link banao, aur apne WhatsApp, Telegram ya social media par share karo. Koi stock, koi investment aur koi return handling nahi. Commission tab milta hai jab order deliver ho jaye aur return window band ho jaye.
Which affiliate network pays the most for Meesho?
It changes. Each network negotiates its own rate with Meesho and adjusts it by category and campaign, so compare the live rate in two dashboards for the same product rather than trusting a published figure. Meesho's direct Creator Club generally pays more than any network.
How long before I get paid?
On a network, expect confirmation up to 90 days after the sale and payouts monthly. On Meesho's direct Creator Club, commission is confirmed after the return window closes and paid weekly.
Do I need GST for affiliate income?
No. Affiliate commission is income, not a sale of goods, so no GSTIN is required. You do need a PAN, and TDS is deducted once you cross the annual threshold.
Is affiliate better than selling on Meesho?
They are different businesses. Affiliate has no capital requirement and no risk, and earns tens of rupees per order. Selling requires stock and carries return risk, and earns several times more per order. Most people who stay at it long term end up selling.
If the affiliate numbers look small next to the effort, that is a fair reading. The Meesho A-Z Course covers the seller side - product research, sourcing, listing and packing - for ₹999, and how much you can actually earn on Meesho sets out the realistic figures before you spend anything.
