APL 2026 - Advertiser Premier League is Flipkart Ads' annual seller rewards contest. It runs 9 September to 9 November 2026, has a prize pool above ₹5 crore, and the grand prize is three Mahindra XEV 9e SUVs.

Entry starts at ₹50,000 of ad spend during the window, and there is no separate registration - if you advertise, you are in.

Whether you should chase a higher slab is a different question, and the second half of this page is the arithmetic that answers it.

Last year's edition rewarded over 5,000 sellers, distributed more than ₹3 crore, and gave away three Tata Nexon EVs.

There are three parallel tracks and you can qualify for more than one.

Track 1: slab rewards

Open to every seller who spends at least ₹50,000 during the window.

₹6,50,000 - ₹9,99,999₹2,500 eGift Voucher
₹3,50,000 - ₹6,49,999₹1,000 free ad credits
₹1,74,999 - ₹3,49,999₹1,000 free ad credits
₹50,000 - ₹1,74,998₹1,000 free ad credits

Rewards of ₹2,500 and above are paid as eGift Vouchers. The three entry slabs pay ₹1,000 in free Flipkart Ads credits.

Track 2: category leaderboard

The top three advertisers by spend within each category also win vouchers, in two tiers.

Tier A - 1st ₹25,000 · 2nd ₹15,000 · 3rd ₹10,000

Grooming, Large Furniture, Automobile, Healthcare, Household, Home Improvement Tools, Women Ethnic.

Tier B - 1st ₹15,000 · 2nd ₹10,000 · 3rd ₹7,000

Women Western, Makeup & Fragrances, Sport & Fitness, Home Furnishing, Auto Accessories, Luggage & Travel, Food & Nutrition, Home Decor, Fashion Wearables, Toys, Kids Clothing, Mobile Protection, Premium EA, Core EA, Personal Healthcare, Books & Media, Baby Care, Watch, Seasonal EA, Small Furniture, Laptop & Desktop, Mobile Accessories, Kids Footwear, Sports Footwear, Audio, IT Accessory.

This is where a smaller seller has the better odds. A Tier B category with few serious advertisers is a realistic target in a way the top spend slabs never are. Look at your own category before assuming you are out of contention.

Track 3: the grand prize

₹2.5 lakh of ad spend during the window is the eligibility criteria for the grand prize - three Mahindra XEV 9e SUVs.

Cross that threshold and you are in contention. Flipkart will confirm how the winners are selected, so check your Flipkart Ads dashboard for the current terms rather than assuming a mechanism.

What that means practically: ₹2.5 lakh gets you eligible, and everything beyond it needs to justify itself on its own returns. Spending more because a car is involved is a poor reason to spend more.

The honest maths

Here is the part the campaign material will not show you: what each reward is worth as a share of the spend that earns it.

SpendRewardAs % of spend
₹50,000₹1,000 credits2.0%
₹1,74,999₹1,000 credits0.6%
₹3,50,000₹1,000 credits0.3%
₹6,50,000₹2,500 voucher0.4%
₹25,00,000₹30,000 voucher1.2%
₹1,00,00,000₹50,000 voucher0.5%

Nothing on that table is a reason to spend money you would not otherwise spend. A 0.4% rebate does not rescue an unprofitable campaign; it slightly improves a profitable one.

Notice too that the reward percentage does not rise smoothly. Crossing from ₹3.49 lakh to ₹3.5 lakh moves you between two slabs paying the same ₹1,000. If you are going to push spend to reach a threshold, check you are pushing to one that actually pays more.

The rule

Decide whether the ads make money first. Let the contest be a bonus.

The test is the same one that applies to any marketplace advertising: cost per click divided by conversion rate gives you what one order costs in ad spend, and that has to sit below your profit per delivered order. The method is in Meesho ads and transfers directly.

Two things make it harder on Flipkart specifically:

The fee stack. Commission, a fixed fee, shipping and 18% GST on all of it come out before profit. Run your numbers through the Flipkart fee calculator before modelling ad spend on top.

Festive returns. The contest runs across the festive window, when volume spikes and returns rise with it. An order acquired through paid ads that comes back cost you the ad spend and the reverse logistics with no revenue. Always model ad profitability on delivered orders.

Who should act on this

Already running profitable Flipkart Ads - you are probably qualifying for a slab without changing anything. Check your category on the Tier B list; a leaderboard place may be closer than you think.

Planning festive advertising anyway - the contest makes that spend slightly more rewarding. Start before the window closes.

New sellers, unproven products, thin margins - a contest deadline is a poor reason to start advertising, and the festive window is an expensive time to learn. Build the listing and the margin first.

Flipkart also runs Saral, a sales-linked ads plan where you commit a percentage of sales rather than a fixed budget - covered separately in Flipkart Saral explained.

FAQ

What is Flipkart APL 2026?

Advertiser Premier League, Flipkart Ads' annual seller rewards contest. It runs 9 September to 9 November 2026 with a prize pool above ₹5 crore, slab rewards from ₹50,000 of ad spend, a per-category leaderboard, and three Mahindra XEV 9e SUVs as the grand prize.

How do I register for APL 2026?

There is no separate registration. Any Flipkart Ads spend during the contest window counts automatically.

How much do I need to spend to qualify?

₹50,000 during the window for the entry slab. ₹2.5 lakh or more to be eligible for the grand prize.

Are the APL rewards worth chasing?

Only if the ads are profitable on their own. The rewards work out at roughly 0.3% to 2% of the spend that earns them - a useful bonus on advertising you were doing anyway, and no help at all on campaigns that lose money.

How are the grand prize winners chosen?

₹2.5 lakh of ad spend during the contest window is the stated eligibility criteria. Flipkart will confirm the selection process, so check your Flipkart Ads dashboard for current terms before planning around it.

Which categories are easiest to win in?

Tier B categories with fewer serious advertisers give a smaller seller the best realistic shot at a top-three leaderboard place. Check where your category sits before assuming the leaderboard is out of reach.

Can I win in more than one track?

The tracks run in parallel - slab rewards, the category leaderboard and the grand prize are separate. Confirm current terms in your Flipkart Ads dashboard.
